Inspired Go Supplier-Related Recall – What You Need to Know
Your safety is our top priority. We want to share clear, factual information about a recent Inspired Go supplier-related recall that you may have seen referenced in the media or online.
This page explains what happened, how we responded, and what it means for customers today.
What happened
On December 14, 2025, Inspired Go received a formal recall notification related to cucumbers supplied by a third-party ingredient supplier. Those cucumbers were used in a limited number of Inspired Go products delivered to customers in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba between December 5 and December 9, 2025.
Customers in Ontario and the United States were not impacted.
The affected products were:
- Bento Noodle Bowl
- Greek Mezze Salad
- Dill Chickpea Salad
- Super Solstice Salad
- Pickle Platter Snack Pack
The supplier advised that testing had identified the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes in their cucumbers. Listeria monocytogenes is a type of bacteria that can be found in food and is closely monitored by food producers and regulators.
The supplier also notified the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
How Inspired Go responded
As soon as we received this information, we took immediate action to protect our customers:
- All customers who received potentially affected products were notified directly by email on December 14, 2025.
- Full refunds were automatically issued for affected purchases.
- We worked closely and transparently with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), which subsequently issued a voluntary recall notice.
- Cucumbers were immediately removed from production, and we transitioned to an alternate supplier.
Food safety decisions like these are never taken lightly, and we act quickly whenever something does not meet our standards.
What this means for customers today
The affected products from the recall period are no longer in circulation. All Inspired Go products currently being delivered are not impacted by this recall.
The recall was precautionary and limited to a clearly defined, past delivery window.
Health and safety information
At the time the recall was issued, there had been no confirmed illnesses reported to the CFIA in connection with this recall.
Inspired Go meals are produced in SQF-certified facilities with strict sanitation, supplier verification, and food safety monitoring programs.
Why you may be seeing news coverage now
Although the affected products were identified and addressed earlier in December, the CFIA issued an updated voluntary recall notice on December 19, 2025.
This update related to the same recall and applied to the same products delivered between December 5 and December 9, 2025. It did not expand or change the scope of the recall, but it did result in additional media coverage.
